The European “STOP the Bleeding Campaign“ is an international initiative launched by the Task Force for Advanced Bleeding Care in Trauma with the aim to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with bleeding following traumatic injury.
As part of the “STOP the Bleeding Campaign“, the clinical practice guideline “The European guideline on management of major bleeding and coagulopathy following trauma: fourth edition” provides evidence-based recommendations that aim to support the acute management of the bleeding trauma patient.
To facilitate the implementation of the guideline locally and to help clinicians to adapt the guideline principles within their own institution, our group, the Task Force for Advanced Bleeding Care in Trauma (ABC-T), has developed an app to serve as a quick reference tool for clinicians.
